Catholic School Council

The St. Joseph Catholic School Council is an advisory group made up of parents and staff. The council is a vital part of our school community. The purpose of a Catholic School Council, through the active participation of parents, is to improve pupil achievement and to enhance the accountability of the education process to parents.

Our Catholic School Council provides advice and support to the principal, and where appropriate, to senior administrative staff and the Board of Trustees on education matters. The advice should reflect the views of the school community.

Meeting Dates

Our virtual Catholic School Council meetings take place on Zoom from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 pm. All parents are welcome to attend the virtual Council meetings and the link was shared in the fall. The meeting dates for the current school year are: October 4th, November 29th, January 24th and March 28th.
