Christmas Angel Program at St. Joseph Catholic School in Uxbridge
St. Joseph Catholic School in Uxbridge happily continued their commitment to community outreach. As Catholics, we are called to live out our Catholic Social Teachings and guide our actions to respond to the needs of others. This year the school collaborated with their parish community to run the Christmas Angels Program. The Christmas Angels program provides support to families in need during the Christmas season, working together with St. Vincent de Paul Society and Sunrise Pregnancy and Family Support Services.
Families were encouraged to pick an angel from tree and commit to donating a much-needed item that was written on the angel. Donations were accepted throughout the month of December in preparation for Christmas. This year the school was able to ensure that every angel was picked up from the tree! The staff and students at St. Joseph Catholic School in Uxbridge would like to thank their community for their wonderful generosity. Together everyone can make a difference for those in need this holiday season.
